Celebrating The Blob and Its Festival

Another post, and another blogathon entry! This time, for some standup folks ambitiously soliciting comments on the Turner Classic Movies summer line-up.  I have the privilege of offering a little something on one of my all time favorite sci-fi films of the 1950s, The Blob:  “Starring Steve McQueen and a cast of exciting young people! [that we cannot
